"Super easy to use, honestly"
I found what I was looking for on bandg.com quickly, which was nice. The pages loaded fast, the menus actually made sense, and yeah... checkout was straightforward too. No random confusing steps or anything like that. Just a smooth, easy experience overall.

"App connection was hit or miss for me"
The website worked fine, but getting the app connected to my devices was kind of frustrating. To be fair, it might’ve just been bad timing or my devices acting up that day, because sometimes it paired right away and other times it just sat there or randomly dropped off. I did get everything working eventually, but the process wasn’t as smooth as I hoped. Overall it’s okay, but the app connection could definitely be better

Not gonna lie, I’ve been really happy with my boat GPS setup from bandg.com. The position updates are quick, and it didn’t even lose signal when I was out on a cloudy day. So far, it’s been solid.

"Easy to use and feels like B&G did it right"
I’ve been using my B&G chartplotter for a few months now, it’s been easy to get along with. The menus are laid out in a way that actually makes sense, zooming in and out is quick, and I’m not wasting time digging around for the basics. It did take me a bit to set it up exactly how I wanted, but once that was done, it’s been really solid. For something you rely on out on the water, I think it’s only fair to expect gear that doesn’t make things harder than they need to be, and this one delivers. Really happy with it.

"Replacement parts were tough to track down"
I ended up having a hard time finding the replacement parts I needed. Every time I checked, they seemed to be out of stock, which was frustrating. I wasn’t in a huge rush at first, but after a couple of weeks of checking here and there, it got annoying.

"Warranty process just didn’t feel smooth"
I had a problem with my B&G unit while it was still under warranty, my first instinct was that it should be straightforward to get handled.
Support did respond, but everything felt slower than it needed to be. I kept having to send over the same details again, and my gut feeling was that nobody was really taking ownership of the issue.

It did eventually get resolved, so I can’t say it was a total disaster. The product itself is fine, but the warranty process left me feeling like it was more hassle than it should’ve been.

I ordered some waterproofing stuff from bandg.com after one of my basement walls kept getting damp. I think I placed the order on a Tuesday, or maybe it was Wednesday, but either way the site was straightforward and the delivery showed up sooner than I expected.

I put it on over the weekend, or possibly that Friday night and Saturday, I can’t totally remember. We had a really heavy rain a few days later and so far there haven’t been any wet patches coming back. Really happy with it and I’d definitely use them again

"Autopilot has been solid, right?"
I got a B&G autopilot setup through bandg.com, and it’s been dependable so far. In normal conditions it holds course well and makes longer runs a lot less exhausting, which I’m guessing is exactly what you want from it, right?
The only reason I wouldn’t quite give it 5 stars is that the setup took me longer than I expected, and some of the menus felt like they could be a bit more obvious. Maybe that’s just me, but once I got everything dialed in, it’s been doing its job really well.

It’s okay for what it is, but I expected a little better for the price. It’s not terrible, just feels a bit overpriced, and after using it I kind of lost trust that it’s really worth what they’re charging

I put in a B&G radar setup last season it’s been great. It picks up boats and markers really clearly, even when it’s raining or I’m out early in the fog. I’ll admit, I got a little impatient messing with the settings at first, but once I figured it out, it wasn’t a big deal. Night runs feel way less stressful now. Really happy I went with it.

I really wanted this to be straightforward, and at first I was optimistic. But the setup broke on me twice, which was super frustrating. Support did eventually help, so that was nice, but they took way longer than I expected. Overall it worked out in the end, I guess, but wow, not exactly a smooth ride

I updated the firmware on my B&G unit through B&G, and it went better than I thought it would. I usually expect these kinds of updates to be a little confusing or stressful, but the download was easy to locate and the instructions were clear.
The whole thing took around 20 minutes, and the unit restarted without any problems. I was expecting at least one hiccup, but everything worked fine afterward. Really happy with how simple it was, so it’s 5 stars from me

I bought this display from bandg.com and overall it does what it’s supposed to do. The screen works fine and I haven’t had any real issues using it, which is great. That said, the battery drain is a bit disappointing. On longer trips it uses more power than I expected, so I have to keep a closer eye on it than I’d like. It’s not a dealbreaker, but I do wish it was more efficient.
